We have the song thread, what about movies?

I have a few:
The Grinch,
Home Alone,
Planes, Trains and Automobiles,
Elf

I'm sure I'll think of more....

The Muppets Christmas Coral (great film and brilliant example of why Michael Caine is so great),
The Santa Clause (terriable in almost every way but yeah I love it at Christmas),
Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan (watch it every year at Christmas to escape the slushy pap that's on)

Elf has got to be the best and planes trains is an absolute classic but I think you'll find he's going home for Thanksgiving so not a Christmas movie! I think Thanksgiving is bigger than Christmas over there. I think they're back at work our boxing day!

Santa Clause is good, never watched the Muppets, I find them irritating. Star Trek I've never been into

The nightmare before Christmas - love Tim Burton's style
Gremlins - my favourite as a child
Eyes wide shut - For sexiness :sneaky:
Trading places - For humour (and for Jamie Lee Curtis!)
Elf - My more traditional favourite
