If it has instructions on the back, I'll cook it but it's great having a qualified chef in the house. Not good for the waistline eh @Admin :D

No it's not... well, only a little bit. xx

Chef or not I'm a traditionalist and love heart home-made meals. That covers quite bites and snacks too.
I make my own sauces for meat, fish and so forth. Always try and use fresh ingredients. And make it as tasty and nourishing as possible.

I love making my own tomato sauces for example, using all (mostly) fresh ingredients, and knocking up say meatballs and linguine - takes minutes to do, leave cook for a bit and when in from work, make the meat/sauce dish the first thing to put on to warm. Or even make it the night before, and simply serve with the pasta.
It takes minutes to knock up, tastes lovely (it's all good as it's mostly fresh) it's healthy and your kids'll love you for it. :) x

Home made pizza, so easy. Make the dough in the morning. Then just some pasta or pizza sauce (shop bought), mozzarella, and your topping. 15-20 mins in the oven and done. Healthy ish.x

My go to meals are chilli and Japanese curry both quick to make (cooking times excluded mind you, but slow cookers help with that) and inexpensive

A nice hot vegetable curry....yum yum.

Quick and easy and if you make enough you can freeze it and microwave from frozen for those days when you're in a rush or CBA. Xx

I mostly eat whats put in front of me. My sister tends to decide what gets cooked, she's got a very fussy 13yr old to try an feed and I tend to end up having what the sprog has.

Dinner .. no other word for it ... :D
tonight I had Bacon pudding , peas carrots and potatoes and gravy .. like my Mum would make us ... when she was alive ....
It's a suet pudding made with flour and shredded suet ... bacon and onions , wrapped and cooked in pressure cooker ...
probably not the healthiest option but after a day on a building site it's just perfect ...
