As we are still in post hangover mode from New Year, I thought maybe something light-hearted to starts us off!

Now for those of you who know me a little, you will be fully aware that shopping of any description is not really my thing and as such it usually results in a rant.:D However, this morning it resulted in a chuckle!

I went to the self-service checkout put my one item through the till and was told by this machine that there was a 'surprising' item in the bagging area. I wasn't surprised, I put it there! It wasn't an unusual item, it was a loaf of granary bread. I'm sure that I am not the only person who eats granary bread. What would have been 'surprising' was if it was a jar of Marmite :eek: but that has a separate thread all of its own.

What are the little things that make you laugh?:rofl::rofl:

Those damned self checkouts.. I can't stand them! Plus it means people lose jobs. Grr.
Little things that make me laugh?
Sorry, but it's people having accidents.. I mean like walking into glass doors and huge puddles :D

That moment when you approach a shop assistant and their first comment is "can I help you?"
I frequently reply with "no. I just came over to you for no reason" then turn and walk away. Makes me chuckle lol
:D oh you naughty man! haha :bouncy:

I might try this particularly if it's one of those shop assistants who stalk you all the way round as if you're about to steal something.

Lew likes to ring people up (usually friends as opposed to random strangers) and ask them what they want? Confuses the hell out of them for a few seconds until they realise that he called them and not the other way round. X:whistle::D

Oh my.... That's epic! Lew you bad man! :D
One of my favourites? I am so bad... and hang my head in shame...
When driving, I will beep at random people in the streets and wave to them shouting hello etc.. :p

He even does it abroad. At least then I don't keep asking who it is. As a result of his antics I no longer wave to friends and have become a social pariah. Lol - I have now taken solace in the company of weirdos :( (no change there then)

I'l be honest here, I saw the thread title then the name of the person posting it and assumed the thread was about something else entirely . Ah what the hell it's the my mind works.

So back on topic if I'm really bored I love to "correspond" with a few of the fakes off the dark site. It's just fun to have a few messages then turn the tables, well it keeps me amused.

 Yes, well, no guesses who wrote that is there.....

Also love watching people wandering around the car park at cheshire oaks trying to remember where they parked. Awful place but some reasonable shops and yes I've "lost" the car myself before now.

I was shopping in Liverpool this week and went into a shoe shop, saw a pair of shoes I liked so asked them if they had them in my size. The assistant was obviously new and came back to say sorry we have got a size 7 but we do have a size 6 or a size 9 if they would be any good. Couldn't help but smile and say, well, errrr, actually no.
