Actually that's not strictly true. I'm planning on getting to a night at Purple Mamba sometime soon and I have a feeling I am gonnna be terrified! If anyone fancies telling me how an evening there pans out, please fee free to do so...

In general, I'm based in Nottingham, so if there's anyone who fancies contacting me for a relaxed beer in town I may well be up for that.

After a bit of digging around, this site seems really genuine with some lovely people so ...

I think it's fair to say, Purple Mamba is a one-of-a-kind club and they are a very friendly, welcoming bunch.
BTW, don't worry about misplaced/miswritten posts ;) - we all do it from time to time. I can delete them, if you like, but it's not necessary IMHO. :D

Hi Intrepid. I've been to Purple Mamba several times now. It's easily the friendliest club I've visited. The owners and staff make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Every night I've been has been slightly different and I've always met new people. Give it a go!

as @debE has pointed out I know Purple Mamba well and can assure you that there is no better club for any nervous newcomer. It's intimate, the members are very welcoming and the hosts and staff are simply the best.
