While in committed relationships, couples have different views on fidelity issues. Some stay monogamous, some have secret sex, others – choose one of the various forms of consensual non-monogamy.


With this post we kindly ask you to participate in our survey that studies how motivations to engage in sexual activity differ between people in different types of relationships, including monogamous and non-monogamous arrangements. The survey is completely anonymous, and it will not ask any personal information that may reveal your identity. Better understanding will help us to navigate our relationships better.

Hi,

Sure, I am more than happy to give you more context.

I am a psychology student in the last year of my masters program. I have a particular interest in consensual non-monogamies (CNM) and with this study I am trying to understand whether there are any differences in motivations to engage in sexual activity between monogamous, adulterous and CNM individuals. As well I am looking at their communication skills and capacity to understand own and other's emotions. My biggest questions is why some choose to cheat, while others decide to be open about sexual desires. Hopefully with this survey I will identify further study paths. The study I am conducting was approved by Ethics committee and respects privacy of the respondents.

I am collecting data from different sources and here I am hoping to get data mostly from those who choose to be swingers.

Please let me know if you have more questions, I will be happy to answer and discuss. I would love and highly value your personal opinion as well. If it is more convenient, I can talk over e-mail

Interesting... I've scanned the URL on my system, and the first and only time it's been added was yesterday. That's all I can add really unfortunately. It's added yesterday and clicked on 26 times.
Maybe another one but similar. Who knows. However, it is also odd that it's showing as completed. Perhaps they can assist you. x

Took me some time to find this as the URL parameters are different; one is Sexuality Research and the other is Relationship Research.
So a similar thread has been posted. x

They're different surveys. Posted by the same account, but with two different names. One is relationship - the other sexuality. Hence why we couldn't find it. Hope that makes sense.

Yes, you are right, @debE, I've published a pilot survey in September this year and after receiving initial feedback I've identified some weak spots, improved and published it again.
