We can all do our bit but I don’t see them doing a lot to change their own carbon footprint. They should be doing this to help others not harm. (y)
I used to think what they are doing is a good thing but not any more sadly. They are now more about making money than saving the planet (y)

TBH I dont understand them at all, well not true, I understand their fear, fear of a world where we are ruining the only planet we have, Other than that, nope! theres been loads of protests and marches that have raised awareness and got the attention of those in power and the media and done it in a way that didnt alienate everyone else. There was lots of ways they could have got the message across butI have zero sympathy for them, ultumately they have damaged their cause, which is tragic because even those of us who disagree with what they have done share the same need for a planet that can support life.

very true , David Attenborough raised more attention to the plight of the planet with one film of a stricken whale trapped in plastic , than all their self centred protests !!

The ironic thing is that all them young men fought and lost their lives so these dickheads can wilfully damage their memorials like this..it's just totally unacceptable behaviour....W..:anger:

Did say this was going to happen.. This is just the beginning of all the shit that's about to hit the fan.. I really hope the police are prepared for what's coming... It definitely is going to get worse before it gets better... I don't think these protesters realise how much they have pissed everyone off which is the opposite outcome they were hoping for.. Maybe if they had gone about things in a different way with some thought instead of damaging memorials and spraying graffiti everywhere and generally stopping towns and cities functioning the public might have been more sympathetic to the cause but as they have Inconvienced that much of the population a revolt was inevitable.. W..

Saturday is the day when we go to mams for lunch :eek: then my ma and me slope into town to do a little shopping, this Saturday we were greeted by these idiots blocking one of the main streets by playing dead....
Now I promised my ma I wouldn’t say a word whilst she went into the butchers to buy her pork chops for her Sunday lunch:D

The smell of cannabis was so overwhelming along with the stench from all the dread locks lining the street, it infuriated me. Passers by staring at this cult wondering what on earth are they doing.
Then I got handed a leaflet which showed me nothing at all about how these cult activists are going to change my views on my own carbon foot print and what policies they have in place to put to our government.
They did show me however how I can donate :tiphat:

I decided to ask one or three questions :cool:

1. How do you feel about a gentleman dying alone because his family couldn’t get to him due to your road blocking?
Reply. You sure that was us?
Me. Yes you apologised on your website.

2. How do you feel about the elderly not receiving lunch because carers couldn’t get to them in their homes due to your road blocking?
Reply. No comment.

3. How do you feel about your founder cruising around the Caribbean?
No comment.

4. Do you own a television?
Reply. We are all hypocrites......

5. The people laying dead on the road. Isn’t that mocking the poor guy sleeping in the doorway just opposite?
We have to get the message out....

6. How do you feel about abusing your own children by using them to send frightening messages out to people.
Reply. No comment.

7. Defacing war memorials. These men fought for the likes of you can stand or lay here behaving in such a disgraceful manner.
Reply. We have to get our message out.

My leaving message to them before my mams return and her dragging me off was

The day one of you recieve that dreaded phone call from the school your children attend saying there has been an accident. You can’t get to the child due to your own road block.
This isn’t humane, this is bullying and it needs to stop. The cause is great but it’s how you do it counts.

I did manage to clear the crowd after signing a few autographs :tiphat:

I’ll tell you how I took on the vegan activists another time :cool:

I really don't think I would have been that calm I think if they said to me they were pretending to be dead I would have to give them a kick to make sure..I know that isn't the answer but they wind you up so much..they really think all these publicity stunts are good for the cause..I'm still convinced this is going to end really badly for these protesters..one or more of them are going to up seriously hurt..but the annoying part is police will prosecute the general public for retaliation but not the useless dickheads for causing all the shit..that's it rant over now back to the topic of sex..w..:anger:

Sadly there aren’t enough police resources, they made over a thousand arrests in London but where do you put them all?

It's annoying though that none of them get charged with anything..hit them in the pockets..but saying that we are probably paying to keep most of them in taxes..

Just been wondering if any of these useless cretins will be causing as much shit on the streets now the weather is turning worse.. I honestly can't see them standing on the streets in freezing cold.. Or the snow and heavy rain we have been getting... Just a thought.. W.. :)
