To get back on topic I love Christmas but DETEST New Years Eve so i'm sad its over!

Same here tbh Mr E.. We LOVE Christmas...
We used to love NYE but now we just don't party like we used to.. And it's down to many factors, some quite personal.
So for us, we generally quietly see the New Year in, a few drinks and some nibbles,then bed. The children stay up with us and we just subtly see it in.
We used to party so hard but meh now

I'm just a complete party animal - I still love it when a bash goes on for days and days... though I have noticed I do like a nice long snooze afterwards.
