It will probably involve mainly work :(....but never say never someone might want to lead me astray all offers gratefully accepted :D

Not much planned yet, off to Penmachno to see friends this weekend, the local Indian restaurant on Christmas eve with my lad and back in Whitby for New Year with @Miss-Sexy-Legs . No doubt I'll catch up with more friends between now and Christmas. And I might have a whisky or two ;)
Oh yeah and I need to put some decs up.

Almost no plans whatsoever with two exceptions:

1/ Christmas Day and Boxing Day spent with friends. Have no family to speak of (well, not that I’m in contact with, anyway) and a few years ago, friends invited me to spend the days with them… and the invitation is repeated - and accepted - every year.

2/ Christmas party with friends next Friday; a party for freelancers, since we never get to go to office/company parties.

3/ Never make plans for NYE. Haven’t for years. If something occurs, great; if not, I’ll spend it by myself. Sometimes the former, sometimes the latter.

Well we're five days away and I am really feeling the festiveness creeping in (and a whopping hangover from last night #Homebrew ) :D
Anyone else have any plans whether naughty/nice or all of the above and if so, what are they and what are you doing?

Other than work on Friday and half day Monday, free all weekend.
Going up to Scotland next weekend though (Friday - Monday), then home for New Year's day
Back at work day after.

Other than that, no plans.

Update...although Christmas will be relatively quite ...
Family Christmas Eve and day ..think it’s time my nephews were introduced to the wonder that is :beer:
Up to and over new year will probably just be getting down an dirty with an old lady ....yes I will be in the garage .. :rofl:
first weekend of the new year :whistle::whistle::whistle: looking forward to that :D:D

No plans really only on the 24th at 11.55am skyping my youngest daughter in geelong wishing her and the kids merry christmas and the same next tue for new year. Other than that xmas day at my eldests for dinner.:santa::pressie:

Me & my rather large & extended family including but not limited to all my Brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, aunties, uncles, nieces nephews and last but not least grandkids! We all basically take over a pub for a few hours on Christmas Day in Cardiff!

We are having our Christmas Day on Christmas Eve as my parents do Christmas lunch for the old folks at church... .my mum is 81...:rofl: not in that category at all. .. Lew and I are helping out too this year and then Lew is going to work on Boxing Day and I am having a lie down in a darkened room with a large gin x

I've got a great Christmas Day..dinner with the grandchildren then in bed at 5 cause back in work half 10 what a great Christmas and that's my one day off. :cry::cry:

Does anybody still buy the Radio Times/TV Times Chrimbo issue? It used to be the only time of year that anyone in our family bought said publications.

:tada:I am starting to feel well Christmassy (i.e. pissed for no reason) :D:santa:

Not me, but my ex- buys one of the clones, one of the tv listings ones, for the Xmas/New Year break; always does, every year, but never any other time of the year.

They must be difficult to navigate in these digital days, though, surely? I'm having a hard time figuring out how I'd set out a printed listings :confused:

Given the amount of channels, I suspect you’d need an electron microsocope to see the print…
