Whilst it's Halloween, I wondered if you all had a favourite horror movie?
Dracula old n new I have to say
The Hellraiser films... well, the first three, at least. Awesome.
Agreed, I *love* these films...
These films are my choice too, absolutely scared senseless by pinhead even your pic has made my toes curl, and grab a cushion to hide.
Oooooh horror films i love horror films
. I love Vampire films such as The Lost Boys. The one film that used to scare the hell out of me was The Evil Dead and The Ring .....shivers xxxxx
Lost Boys is my all time favourite
Agreed, love this film.
I thought about Lost Boys... but is it really a horror movie?
I wouldn't class it as a horror, but it's got vampires.
It's one of those films that I could probably quote from beginning to end, I love it.
Yes it's one of our @Pearls favourite films
Exorsist? That was on last night.
Rose isn't really a horror fan, "Shaun of the dead" is probably the only one she rally likes. If SF Horror counts, then "Aliens" (Alien 2) is my favourite; especially the "let her go, bitch!" sequence. But this made a big impression on me when very much younger, one of the great Hammer Horror films. Stephen King stole this idea of an ancient alien ship being discovered during an excavation in "The Tommyknockers" but of course the crew are not really dead....
Ooh, The Wicker Man too. 1973 version, of course.
Absolutely! A great favourite with Pagans, and we've heard this sung around many a campfire -
Horrors......NOPE!!!!! Give me a nice Disney film and I'm happy
This isn't a movie but can anyone else remember Ghostwatch in the BBC about 25 years ago, it was a one off spoof show with Parkie, Mike Smith & Sarah Greene
John Carpenter's Halloween with Jamie Lee Curtis for me, was one of the first horror movies I watched as a child. Nightmare on Elm street comes a close second! x
Yes this is frickin scarey..
Love love love horror movies.. not seen a good one in years... anyone seen...
Mummy and daddy?
Child's Play ... and sequels ... "Chucky" the first was probably the best ...
