You get chatting to a couple, Sexy, flirty banter is flowing and you arrange to meet.
The day arrives but when you meet up the hubby of the couple says an emergency popped up and his wife couldn’t make it.
Would you continue with the hubby alone or walk?

You arrange to meet a lady and similar situation, you arrive at the meet to find her there with her partner, she claims some crap excuse about why he is there.
Would you carry on with the meet or walk?

After swapping photos you decide to meet up only to discover the person/persons look nothing like the pics they sent.
Would you continue with the meet?

Over to you folks :D

No, No and No
Quite simple really, if the original arrangements have changed and the person/people haven't bothered to tell us in advance or they were not who we thought we were meeting going by their photo's then we wouldn't continue. Why should we continue with someone who is either fake or lying.

Doesn’t really apply, since I’m entirely straight; of course the meeting wouldn’t go ahead. That said, if the couple were local, and the fella had turned up to apologise in person for the woman not meeting, and I thought it was genuine, we might have a drink before we headed in opposite directions.

Walk. You stressed ‘crap’ excuse. I can think of less than crap excuses, though yeah, most of them would be excuses, not reasons.

I don’t know, honestly. Depends on whether the ‘real’ look is markedly less attractive to me. (Obvious one is ‘they misled you about their age’. And that works both ways. I’ve met someone who was substantially younger than they’d led me to believe. Easy to pull off with a pic; impossible in real life.)

They would turn into social meets, however... for the first one, I would ask the guy to ring his partner so we could confirm he actually has one, or give us her number and we would ring at a time convenient to her... any stalling and we are gone.

For the second one, it depends on how crap the excuse was, and where they wanted to go from there. For ladies meeting on their own, security is a priority, I can understand them wanting some form of "backup" so that they feel safe.

For the third, nothing wrong with a chat over a coffee, and it depends how "different" they look from their pics. We aint supermodels either, so we dont judge purely on looks, and I can understand people wanting to give a good first impression. If, however, they had ripped pics from the web, and in fact looked nothing even approaching the pics, then we would let them know we prefer honesty, wish them well, finish the coffee and hit the road.

I’ve told the story many times, met a lovely female on A.N. Other site we chatted for ages swapped pics, got on well, arranged a meet !
Arrived she got out the car ! And lo and behold she was 10 stone heavier and 20 years older than she’d led me to believe !
All ideas of continuing the meet ended there and then !
Harsh you may say! Not at all there would have been no issue at all ! Had she been honest ! It was the blatant deception that killed it !! :tiphat:

Oh this happened to me years back, didn’t know what to do, or say. So told him I’d come on! Now it would be different.
I had been chatting to a guy for weeks, his pictures on the site showed a fairly fit, 45ish year old. When he showed up he was at least 10-15years older and very rotund! Also talking to him over a drink he was married with a small child. I was sooo relieved to get out of there. I’m guessing he kind of knew as I didn’t hear from him after that.

So while I am not new to the lifestyle, I have yet to meet anyone or play in the UK, I recently returned here, but took up the lifestyle abroad.
I had a few experiences that were a bit shady.
Agreed to meet a lady, she was supposedly 40, turned out to be 50...in this instance the 10 years had not been kind to her. We never played as I think she realized I was not impressed.
However...the wierdest was in 2013, I was on the local swingers site and I get an invite from a couple to come around and play. I go around, its just hubby there. He says she is a little delayed but will be there later. So we sit and chat, he had porn playing on the telly...it was a little uncomfortable if I am honest. After an hour she doesnt pitch and he suggests we start without her! So I leave. Promptly.
2016 comes around, and same swinging site and I get an invite from a couple. As soon as I get the address, I know its the same guy. So part hope and part sheer curiosity off I go to see what happens. Exactly the same scenario! Wifes running late, he has porn on the telly...he didnt even recognise me! So after 20 minutes of listening to him tell me how great she will be, I told him I had been through this before...and left. Posted on the swing site the next day...turned out he had been doing the same thing to loads of others as well. Every village needs one I guess...

That is shocking. What is the matter with people? I wonder what would have happened if a woman had gone there!
We know of a couple who met up with a lady, luckily it was a public place but it turned out the lady was a bloke.
I don’t think we’ve met anyone that hasn’t been verified or haven’t attended a social event first.

In this lifestyle, there should be no judgement. We all like our kinks. So why does a guy need to pretend to be a woman to meet a couple? Surely there is a category on here for that exact kind of hook-up, which will have no judgement or concern? Why conceal it?

This isn’t about kink sadly. This is the dangerous reality of fake accounts and the extent they will go to.

Here’s a great example of making the mistake of not asking for a POL , this is the same girl guess which one is filtered !!!

A friend suggested video calling before meeting. I’m 100% confident I don’t need to for this weekend but I don’t mind if someone else wanted to check on me

We have found the verification system works really well here. You can get quite a good overview of who u r meeting beforehand. Xx G
