Do you?
I would never and have seen the damage it causes! In my eyes it's just mindless.
I see no difference in drink drivers, our son has just passed his test and got a car, he turns his mobile to silent while driving and puts the phone in the dash so he can't get to it, we never thought he would but he's been brilliant xNo. I use a cradle and BT connection so totally hands free. If needed you pull over - bloody obvious really. Even handsfree can be dangerous , its a distraction.
How did we manage before mobiles eh...The problem is people want to answer the phone or make a call instantly. Ffs you leave a message or let them leave a message and you deal with it later. Lol I will shutup before I go off on a rant
Wow... That's some serious stuff right there. Hopefully you walked away totally unscathed and she got done for it.I got run off the M56 by a woman texting at 70mph when she drifted into the outside lane as I over took her. Caused over £5000 of damage to my car and nearly killed me. She had no clue what she had done till the Police arrested her and showed her the CCTV footage. My phone is totally hands free but I don't often use it as it still distracts you.
My car is the same, much easier. XIm one of the lucky ones as I drive a merc so it automatically changes to hands free as soon as I get in car. Mobile phones and driving is a pet hate of mine and I wish I could blast my horn at them when they doing it but as there so engrossed in phoning I think it would cause them to panic and swerve or worse so sadly I don't I just give them a wanker wave
That's awful..My mobiles are set to silent and chucked in my bag ive never been involved in a car accident but my ex of 13 years was, due to a mobile user that engrossed in his convo ,its left him minus a leg and he will only go in a car if he as too and then hes a complete wreck he actually takes a sedative before the journey ,its heartbreaking to see such mindless and thoughtless acts for the sake of parking up or waiting to the end of your journey to make or take that call
Id love to pull the users over and rip the phones from their hand, if I knew them id bloody well name and shame them tooThat's awful..
Mindless.. it really is. x
I would too. it pees me off no end when I'm driving and I see someone driving and using their phones.Id love to pull the users over and rip the phones from their hand, if I knew them id bloody well name and shame them too
Dont go there im terrified of truckers when I see them on their mobiles and youre trying to overtake on a motorway its hair raisingI would too. it pees me off no end when I'm driving and I see someone driving and using their phones.
The worst; truck/lorry drivers - and parents with kids in the car. What on earth are they thinking!

Agreed... those and mums driving their kids to school in the morning on the phone. It's been known for truckers to be on the laptop at the wheel, these are supposed to be professional drivers you would think they would now better.
I have been known to :spank: I did own up though. I'm just as bad thereI agree messing about on your phone whilst driving is dangerous but how many smokers out there spark a fag up whilst driving or ladies applying makeup whilst driving to work in the mornings, belive me this is more common than you would think. Steve
Used to see this all the time when I was on the bike back in the day.I agree messing about on your phone whilst driving is dangerous but how many smokers out there spark a fag up whilst driving or ladies applying makeup whilst driving to work in the mornings, belive me this is more common than you would think.
