Prompted by a thread elsewhere I wondered what everyone's thoughts are on the effect that porn is having on expectations? I get the opinion that especially the younger generation expect sex to be like pornography with endless shagging that goes on for hours, multiple orgasm, DP, gang bangs, squirting you name it. Trouble is life isn't really like that so, many get the feeling that their sex life is either lacking or that they are inadequate.
I think porn is a wonderful thing so long as you take it with a pinch of salt... but then when it comes to porn be it film or photographs in a magazine I always prefered the reality side of things anyway and was always more turned on by pictures of someone's girlfriend or wife then a Top Model........ Oh! Except for Linda Lusardi. (Yeah! I am over 60 remember).

Porn isn’t real life , sure we’d all like porn star performance but the reality is different ...
I guess it can effect people’s expectations , it’s there for entertainment ...
If and when i do watch it I tend to try to find more amateur stuff which may be more realistic...... the not so perfect body ... and I totally agree I get more turned on by pictures I’ve been sent that any magazine or internet ....
Linda Lusardi .... totally with you on that one , it’s not politically correct but Page 3 girls were probably the first boobs a young lad got to see back in the day ..... or maybe that was just me :D

I watch porn must make me a voyeur online. Nothing wrong with watching porn. Does it make me have expectations no not all! If you come online to any kind of site or app with expectations you will be sadly disillusioned. It is also not just the younger generations most people of adult nature find that us women are on here like a branch and waiting for you to shag us, perhaps some are if that is your preference. It comes down to preference. What did I expect from here ...Nothing at all!

I love porn. I try and look for amature porn or really home made orgys. I love to watch real life stuff. Don’t matter what size of shape your in as long as they are enjoying each other’s body’s and really have fun. I think you can have sex for hours , once you’ve cum you can chill have a glass of wine and maybe watch porn with whoeve is with you and sat naked and keep that sexual feeling going till your ready for the next bit. I’ve Always wanted to do something like this. X

I agree with P,I think porn is ok when you younger,see things and copy some of them but it wanes when you age,seen it got the T-Shirt sort of thing? You got to remember porn wasn’t as easy to view it like it is today.

I agree with you,porn is very misleading to the younger generation!
And also agree on the reality side,I’d much rather see a “real”natural woman instead of a polished porn model

I'd agree with that, saturation is a big problem and porn content is easy to acquire online nowadays, no more readers wives magazines under the bed??

If you mean any expectations after watching porn then no. I take it, as I think most people do, for what it is, entertainment. There will always be a minority who will expect things to happen but as with anything on the fringes of what society classes as decency the media will always report the sensational events whilst disregarding the majority who watch porn for for the enjoyment.
