I think it is an individual thing, sometimes it's laziness, sometimes it's lack of confidence in "selling yourself", sometimes they just don't understand the point.

I know mine is pretty blank but for now I'm not really here with any intent, god only knows when we will actually be able to meet again so I'm not actively looking to form connections in that way, I'm happy enough socialising on the forums and chatting to people without pressure.

i think its cos they can get enough interest so they don't see the need to write one

The point I'm trying to put across is...

This site is more social than that other one we all know about but never mention.

A blank profile from a female or a couple just shows their lazy (mostly)

Would you want to meet with someone who has nothing to say? It's more than just sex.... or is it?

But isn't part of the fun in getting to know someone and finding out if you're compatible?

If you meet someone in real life they don't come with a fact sheet you can read in advance.

And yes, I understand that we're all here looking for different things but to me the socialising and chatting is the most important bit, I'm happy to do that with anyone and not just those who feel like I tick their boxes.

Have to agree with the chatting, because sometimes things can happen that you don’t expect on more than one occasion I’ve been lucky enough to meet and  with people that I thought would have no interest in me ...

You can only try and engage them , if they don’t want to engage with you then I guess it’s time to move along to someone who does ...

Exactly. If they choose not to write a profile then that's up to them, if it means people don't interact with them because of it then that's their issue.
Think your missing the point what I'm saying... a blank canvas can be worked with... but what's to say that blank canvas doesn't want to interact with a couple/male/female?

If you were in a club you wouldn't know in advance though, you'd get talking and see how things go.

I guess it's up to the individual, if they miss out on people approaching them then that's the choice they've made and have to bear.
