No, nothing went wrong, although we did end up using a lot of sand paper on the stadium to get it just right for us Aussies.

It was very colourful and the theme was that we are all connected i.e. the Commonwealth

Yeah, I did see some of the highlights on BBC, looked good.

I missed the Opening Ceremony and the men's triathlon yesterday (rather glad looking at the result) but I'll be making time to watch the relay.
