Anyone Else Get Sucked In?

Not as exciting as the title may suggest I'm afraid

I use Amazon a lot.

I have an echo and pay £3.99 a month for Amazon unlimited music which allows me to use it on one device which suits me fine.

I have resisted becoming a prime member but really, I probably would have benefitted being a member from the free shipping alone

So, after being bombarded with adverts for prime day I was determined that no offer would tempt me.

Well, surprise, surprise, I cracked.
Even though I don't really need one when I saw the echo show's price slashed from £199 to £99 it didn't take too long for me to justify becoming a prime member and ordering one.

So, did anyone else get sucked in?

I’m a prime member and although I don’t like the films/tv as there’s nothing on, I love the delivery! But we don’t have an echo. We do have a google home, but only because it was a gift. I’m looking for a Fitbit or something though and only have a few hours left of prime day!

Almost everyone I know who’s on Prime originally clicked on the trial, and then forgot to cancel before the end of the trial period, so was billed. And then, after a day’s bitching about it, has grinned good-naturedly and accepted it. About half have stick with it when renewals have come around. The ‘next day delivery no matter what’ has been the deciding factor.

This was me. I got billed, but refused to pay for it as i didn't even realise i'd signed up for it in the first place.
I seldom order off Amazon so prime wouldn't benefit me x

Yeah well, as I say I use Amazon a lot and will DEFINITELY benefit from the free next day postage.
I get the same deal with Lovehoney so basically, that's most of my online shopping postage sorted

And I must admit I am kind of looking forward to my new Echo Show arriving on Friday
