We share plenty of positive posts so we hope you don't all mind a dip into negativity but we recently had a uncomfortable experience and wanted to talk about it
We visited a club and the atmosphere was just off we couldn't pin it but it felt wrong. One of the guys was almost predatory in the way he acted, another stared and played with himself and a third stank of booze it just killed our mood
Have you had this? and managed to move past it and still have fun. We hated it felt like we'd let them ruin something for us

I would say it comes down to the club and where you choose to go, there are some out there that we wouldn't entertain for reasons like this and so far we have only positive things to say about our experiences, disapointing for you both though x

That sounds terrible! I've heard of one or two similar stories recently but cannot pass comment on which club it was.
What is it with these guys wandering around playing with themselves lately? That's not swinging... that's just real life porn!!

Hugely disappointing for you though. Would you go back there? Did you inform the club of your experience?

We would go back as the staff were watching the drunk guy like Hawks and the club itself is nice just a bad mix of clients that night

We honestly think the club is in no way to blame they can't police everyone honestly isn't intended as a go at the club at all more of a how would you ignore these people and not let them ruin your night

It's difficult as (at least in MY opinion) I would find that so off-putting, I don't think I'd be able to get back in the swing of things. For me, having a man walking around wanking, would be enough for me to up sticks and leave tbh. That is just not swinging.
It's things like this, and certain other events, that bring this whole scene down.

If this was a regular event at the club we would say but we have visited a few times in the past and never had a similar experience if it happens again we will name it and stop going

No matter what a customers safety is at the top of the list were clubs are concerned and should not be tolerated. It is their responsibility to make sure it doesn't happen !

Agreed, clubs have to make absolute priority over safety for people. We've seen an incident which I won't repeat, but I was aghast at. Yet nothing was done... I think too many turn a blind eye sadly.

We have a club not far from us but it looks like it is in someones house and puts us off a but tbh maybe it shouldn't but the pics don't make it appealing and the reviews are a bit hit and miss. Sorry to hear you experienced this though it would certainly put us off too

Indeed, I often wonder how many of us are really put off by pics of clubs from the outside?
Some look dingy as hell don't they? Even worse then when there's a press coverage/leak of the place and they look like run down buildings and old YMCA hang outs.

We had one round here (Dagenham) that was next to a tyre-fitters/breakers yard... well, in the tyre-fitters/breakers yard actually. Really didn't fancy trying the place, if I'm honest
