I have just heard about this service from my youngest daughter if your on a train being hassled or such you can text british transport police on 61016 to report the incident without the person thinking your calling the police could be usefull to anyone traveling by train alone and feeling that there in danger also you can call 0800 40 50 40 . Our local trains have an announcement telling people to text 61016 if they have any problems or see anything they believe is a danger.

Yes I’ve seen it on the trains, it comes up on their announcement boards, such a good idea.
