Bubbles. Comfy?

Do you think some get too comfy in their little bubbles of closed knit friends?
We’re creatures of habit really.

I don’t mean cliques either, don’t mistake what I’m saying here.
But do you think it’s all too easy to stay within our (generic) own bubbles as it were?
Do others perhaps find it too difficult to step out of them to see what’s going on around.
Maybe others find it too difficult to engage with peeps who are comfy in their own bubbles.

I mean, it’s a thing of comfort isn’t it? You’ve got say a handful of friends that you tend to stick with and that’s that.

Comfy? Yes.

Too comfy? No.

For as many ‘successes’ I’ve seen when people have stepped outside their normal friendship circle and comfort zones, I’ve seen equally as many absolute disasters and complete implosions.

And the latter almost always occur when someone feels they ‘have’ to, to please someone else or because they‘ve been pushed into it,

If or when someone wants to step outside they inevitably will.

I try to engage others but they usually end with the look that says 'who's this weirdo?'
Sometimes it's a fair point but ffs not every time!
