Well it’s the countdown to Christmas now. Have you done any or even all of your shopping? Are you ready for Christmas?
It’s going to be different for many of us and perhaps no change for others. One thing it won’t be is a “normal” Christmas as we know it.

But in the spirit of festivities, let’s talk about all the good things that Christmas brings for us all.

I've got from Dec 14th off till new years so i guess prezzies, but no secret santa this year i guess or work drinking

I'm lucky Mrs h is very organised with Christmas and starts shopping for presents in January... Needless to say our bedroom wardrobe has got more presents than clothes.. I've got 3 nights off at Christmas this year.. First one off since 2012 so it will definitely be a family Christmas this year.. Especially after the way this year has gone.. That will probably be the next time I have a drink..... W.. ???

Fuck, I hate Christmas. For me for a long time it really is the loneliest time of year. Please, no sympathy needed at all, it's just a shit time of year.

On top of that all the commercial bollox. Last year I went in to the Range in Shrewsbury, went upstairs and the entire floor was Christmas. Lights, trees, decorations, music and all that was missing was Santa. "Oh but it's Christmas you bah humbug Grinch" I hear you cry. Well allow me to retort, It was the middle of fucking September. I mean for fuck sake.

Also at work, the guys knew I hate Christmas and how earlier it seems to get, so one morning, I turn up for work, first few days of October and there on my desk are a packet mince pies with a post it note saying "Merry Christmas, don't look at the best before date". Expires 28th of fucking October. It's a piss take

Anyway, but seriously, I fucking hate Christmas.

TBH I’ve not enjoyed Christmas for years you can be with family but still find it a lonely time ..... but it is what it is ,starts so early usually fed up with it long before it arrives .....

All organised here.Lights and decs going up this weekend then just enjoy it as much as we can.I'm hoping the normal church services will be on over christmas.That is very important to me and It won't be the same if it's being altered, and not in line with traditional celebrations x
