Interesting idea. Not sure if I have this quote right but... "In a world stripped of god faith is attached to conspiracy theories".
But what does the turtle stand on?Am I the only one that knows that the World is a disc, supported on the shoulders of 4 elephants who are in turn carried on the back of a giant Turtle, swimming through space.
Flat square Earths? spherical Earths? What nonesense

But what does the turtle stand on?
Ah. It's turtles all the way down
It's no good, it's turtles all the way down.
What if we are all just really tiny and part of some celestial schoolchild's science project

Yes, I believe they doSnap
Yes, I believe they do
I have a conspiracy theory about conspiracy theories - some are so ridiculous (such as our FE friends) that they are obviously nonsense. The fact that people purport to believe in them, suggests that you have to be a bit mad to buy it. Fair enough for Flat Earthers or David Icke fans - but what about the idea that America's government were complicit in the murder of one of its Presidents (for example)?
Are the Flat Earth/lizard people nutters paid/encouraged/masterminded by the world's elites, to enable them to suggest that anyone who believes in something that can be labelled a conspiracy theory is a fantasist? :hmm:
Makes yer think, dunnit? Eh? Eh?
There is a thing as factual chaff. The idea is to spread so much rubbish and false truth it's hard to see the real facts.Yes, I believe they do

Well, no. I was more worried about how easily the phrase can be used to shut down an argument.Your question, albeit obliquely, is whether or not some conspiracy theories are true?
