Difficult To Navigate?

Good evening sexy peeps. I’ve often wondered why some people find the site difficult to navigate.
So with this thread I’m hoping to cover a few things, which I genuinely hope helps other members.
Plus on top, I’m curious to know exactly what it is that people find difficult to do on here.
You may know there’s SS V2.0 imminent which is great, but hopefully this will help too.
So I’ll be adding some posts one by one and some explanatory images too.
This also means you’ll see the odd, terribly edited image. I apologise but all of this is done on my phone to show that you can do everything from your mobile phone.

First;
You have your three-bar menu, often said as your ‘burger menu’. Now, I’ve specifically done this on my mobile phone to show the various options.

This opens up the first main menu where you have further options;

And this is what the menu looks like;

From here there are several places you can go, hopefully it’s self explanatory, but for the sake of the thread I’ve chosen - forums > forum list.

More to follow.....

The forum list shows you the main forum areas, latest status updates and some other info which is possibly of use;

Here you see latest status updates, member joined and some shortcuts.
For now the thread is locked until I finish okay.

Member searching. We’re here not only to socialise but find other peeps to socialise with, yes?
So this is how to and what the menu options are.
Menu > browse > enter details > search and find results.

Media;

Most who say they don’t know how to use the site, shortly after joining, are always usually seen first of all viewing media.
Again, three bar menu, photos, media - job done.

Members meets;

Again, three bar menu > member meets > forum.
This takes you literally to the meet forums, where you and other members can add threads, seeking other people.

Recent Activity;

Recent activity is your newsfeed. You have two. One is for all site activity, the other is from your friends/people you follow.
So as per, three bar menu > recent activity > results.

Adding photos to a thread;

Here’s how you can upload images to your thread;
After selecting your forum, then clicking new thread, once you’ve started your thread, you can add images by selecting ‘upload file’ then choosing the image from your camera roll. From there you click ‘upload’ and then ‘insert’ to insert the images into your posts;

The best and preferred options when adding media, is always add as thumbnail.
This makes it easier to view the image from mobile as you can click on it, to enlarge it.

Adding Media to The Gallery;

This is really easy to do. It’s simply;
Three bar menu > gallery > add media > choose album (or create one) or category. Once chosen, click add media which opens your camera roll and you can select your media.

How do I mark a specific forum as ‘read’?

Now and again you may come across a certain forum area that is filling your new posts link up, with content you’d rather not see/have no interest in.
If this is the case, you can easily Mark the forum as read by carrying out the following steps;
Visit the forum in question
Use the small three bar drop down menu on the navigation
Select ‘mark forums as read’
For this scenario and screenshots, I’ve used the ‘Club Promotions / Events’ forum. Purely for this exercise.

That’s it. It will clear those forums for you, making your reading life a little easier.
