I can't say much about said website as I think I only used it for about 20 minutes because yes I know this will sound shallow and it probably is but by god is it an ugly site I mean it's like it's from the 90

From our point of view, and the Admins here are aware of what happened, whilst on Feb, We were banned from the Spanish forums for putting an Internet address up for something not related to swinging, and only in response to a number of requests for the address from other members in the forum at that time,
We duly complained, and then rose it to Admin level, as we were not breaking any rules, as it was not direct advertising, but a genuine answer to other members requests, we were then banned for life from the Spanish forums, which somehow escalated to all the forums, and when I again complained, I was told to literally stop whinging. We needless to say did not renew, but before our membership expired we removed all our photos, and profile and just let it lapse, we then closed down the account about a month later.
As has been said, Fab are a manipulative set of tossers that are there to purely make money out of a niche market that is so very vulnerable to abuse.
We are active now on 3 accounts only, and 2 of them are fully Spanish based and we don't intend leaving SS even though we annoy the admins here too xx

Oops I hit enter before I finish ranting now where was I. That's right it looks like it from the 90's which was fine in the 90's where no one really knew how to lay a website out, does it still use the weird old aspect ratio that only really works on 4:3 screens.

We've got a profile on here & on there as most of you are probably aware, although the way in which we use the sites are vastly different.
Essentially fab is used to keep in touch with people we know who are on there & for use of the meets section to see who's going to where on, generally, a Saturday night. Because the numbers are so high on there it makes sense to use it that way, also because of the members & the length of time we've been on there we've got a lot of verifications.
We have to use multiple filters to try to weed out the timewasters & fakes but because we only really use it for club meets it's not the hardest thing to manage.
We only dabbled in the forums & the chat rooms but as most of you know you basically need an invite to be allowed to join in, that's not speaking as newbies either.
It can be made to work but it's difficult to manage.
Here on the other hand is much more of a community & one which is very welcoming too. We can use the forums & speak honestly with each other, the transparency & accessibility to the Admin team & moderators is exceptional.
The fact that we feel so comfortable & safe chatting in the forums has meant that at times a lot of us have probably revealed more about ourselves than we would do if the the forum & content was accessible in a Google search therefore we had the reaction earlier.
This site is developing really well & given time I'm sure will achieve the numbers & give us more local swingers to meet with.

To conclude I believe what @Admin is trying to achieve here is to do a Captain Kirk & boldly go where no man has been before, to try to create a swinging site with no timewasters & fakes. It won't be easy but you have our support

Only good thing to come from that site is the realisation of how not to run a site. There are classier porn sites than the not so fabulous one. I was a member briefly but it didn't take long for the realisation to set in on just how appalling it is. I had to put up with ignorant self absorbed pillocks who thought it was their god given right to treat couples and singles alike badly and in doing so we're offended when the foxtrot oscar order was issued to em. And I lost count of how many times I was contacted asking to score coke. I did capitalise on one such occasion though and handed their details to some rather interested colleagues bless em.
I closed the account, tried a couple of other sub standard sites before stumbling upon this hidden gem. To be honest I kinda hope the drab swingers site continues as it keeps the idiots in the world from venturing over to here. Although I am very confident with the SS team's efforts that said shysters wouldn't even get their foot through the door.
The irony is that whilst sites like that offer premium services for payment SS trumps them all in every way for free. Keep up the epic work all of you.

And strong may it continue. I like to think of drab swingers as the idiot quarantine. I may be slightly unfair as I'm certain there are many descent members over there. Trouble is they can't shine because it's over run with the less desirables. Only a matter of time before this site draws the descent folk in and then they'll be faced with closure.

We left after image-searching the sites name and seeing that some folks pics were cropping up on other sites, such as a car enthusiasts one, with the forumees taking the piss out of them! We very rarely went on there anyway tbh - it's cliquey, snotty and just..... unpleasant.

If everyone we knew was to come over onto this site, then I'm sure it would be soo much better, but unfortunately we are not allowed to advertise any 'other' places, so there's really no way of telling them about it here

Actually don't listen to me. My genuine dislike for the site rules my head sometimes. I'd hate for you to do such a thing and risk losing contact with your friends. Can't you email them?

I've seen em. Dark horse Hollywood couple the pair of em. No wonder they won't show their faces - they'd be swamped with eager souls.

We used to be very active members of the site so have some good friends and plenty of verifications that we don't want to loose so we battle on for now. The site used to be very good tbh up to the last couple of years when a Small group was aloud to take over chat and also large numbers of blokes realized that if they paid they could do whatever the wanted. We intend to keep our profile on Fab for now until we can get into the swing of things here so to speak. We realise we have not been really pro active in finding meets on here since getting invited by a member here in a private message whilst on Fab but my better half is waiting on an opp in the new year then we will be back with avengance lol

They charge and even charge just for you to view who looked at your profile. You get the alert "Member x viewed your profile" and if you don't pay, you don't see it.. so you have to pay.

This has always been something that makes me laugh, the number of sites I have visited over the years that say they are free, free membership free to enter etc. What they say is generally true but only in as much as it's free to enter a restaurant free to enter a pub free to enter the shopping centre....

I hate the site and could have a major rant about it but I keep it short. As a single guy everyone just assumed I was the same as all the others, quite simply you were treated as **** and most responses were hostile to say the least. I eventually moved here when my local club were effectively banned from the site for no obvious resons and I've never looked back.
