Ever get fat days?
Let's be honest about this now. I am no slim Jim. Barrel chested, pretty stocky.. and on top of all that - a bloke. (always Mr from here!) As if that matters... But it does, doesn't it? Women get fat days don't they? Men don't! (As in, we're not allowed, not meant to ... Yawn!)
Anyway, aye a little overweight but shifting it pretty well (training etc). but man don't you hate fat days?
I mean, I don't eat like food is going out of fashion and I am sure you don't either.. but yet most of us get these days.
How do you feel then stripping off in front of someone else when you get a shitty fat day? Do you still go ahead or what?
Can play games with you, that's certain. Especially if you've had one of those days where whatever you've eaten or drank - just seems to sit there. x

I’m having a fat fortnight, stress related so I turn to food, made a yummy Nutella cheesecake and have enjoyed demolishing it, although I lost 2lb at fat club on Monday I am definitely going to have a gain next week, I have not touched any fruit this week

Yeh...like most days of the week
don't you hate fat days?
Yeh...but know theres only myself responsible for changing such days

Yes....just dim them lights.

On a serious note, i think even the slimmest of the population have these 'fat days'. Part of human nature to have insecurities about our side drop on us when we least expect it x

Yes but that's okay. Kind of. If stressed and feeling pissed off, you have to have comfort from somewhere.
I grinned at this though

That sounds great! But I feel your pain.
It's a PITA isn't it? I hate it sometimes and being someone who has pretty much cooked since I was about 7 - then it's difficult as I am a foodie.
Grrr.
I'm sure you will lose a bit next week, just hit the fruit and water hard.
Horrible feeling at times though. As a bloke, we're not meant to even discuss this and just get on with it.
Yes....just dim them lights.
Dimming lights is always a good option.
Just pray they don't fall out of the ceiling!

Oh absolutely. It's normal..
But we often see the ladies talk about it, very rare for men to discuss it as it's expected we get on with it kind of thing. But my point is, I think, that no matter what size you really are - I think we all get days where we feel like that. x

Much worse when on a meet as it'll knock your confidence for six

LOL
It's quite funny (no it's not really) but I've got mates who think I'm skinny !!
My problem is simple.
7 or 8 months ago I was happy with my body shape. Hence all the photos I posted on here of my chest, stomach (and yes ok other parts too)

Then I started on what has been a helluva long period of my CFS playing me up.
I'm still nowhere near full fitness yet but I can get about now and I will put the effort in if she's, I mean it's worth it.
Granted I may suffer for some days afterwards but I'm not ready to miss out on life's fun just yet.
Anyway, I digress, the point is that over those months I could do very little except lay on the sofa.

Eating mostly chocolate biscuits.

Consequently, I have acquired the body of some podgy bloke.
I'm not fat but I've got a belly that simply doesn't belong to the rest of my body. I get annoyed and, quite honestly I occasionally feel a bit sick when I catch a glimpse of it.
In my mind, it's not there.

Anyway as my health improves and I gain more energy I'm sure it'll gradually go.
I just hope I'm not saying the same thing this time next year...and the year after.

Oh, and you're absolutely right, I for one definitely have "Fat" days.

Antogs xx

Bless you. CFS is a bitch alright. But you will find what works for you am sure. Just start trying, I don't know, maybe some different things. You will soon find if you can do them or not.
Yeah bitch isn't it!? Meh. I find it's either from drinking too much wine, or heavy food like rice etc. Sometimes, usually, just from nothing and feeling uncomfortable like.
Here, is the perfect place to discuss such things though yes?
Absolutely which is why I posted to see what happens. x

As someone who has been the “fat kid “ all his life , I was put on diets as a kid but none really worked ...
How you look can affect confidence, always known it was my problem, never take my shirt off in public ...
But since joining SS I feel more confident in how I look thanks to all the kind comments...
I have been naked in a club hot tub something I never would have thought I could do ....
Just recently I have even started laying out in the sun , I never do that...and on hot days I go out the front and wash my van without a shirt on .... something I have never done so yes I still feel like the “fat kid “ but being accepted here does really help ..

lol I permanently having fat days let's be real lol

However what I will say is
If the person is gonna get naked and wants to play... they are sure as hell pretty much know what they getting

There is nothing worse than someone trying to hide bits n bobs And spoils the fun

Confidence is very attractive in both men and women

Everyone can have fat days but my advice concentrate on the connection chemistry and commonalities and let the games begin

I do but I would say I am confident in my skin and can look good with effort. When you’ve done your hair, nails and make up and popped on something nice then no matter what size you are, you will feel great. X

I constantly have these! Even after loosing so much I still see myself as I was last year. But in all honesty I think most of it is to do with the bloody clothing industry and the strange clothes sizes!

I still blush when stripping off in front of G and breathe in a lot! S xxx

I can honestly say size is not a problem and never has been for me, I connect with the brain, personality and sexiness way before then ! After all it’s all the same equipment just different proportions !
From the back I look pretty normal , from the front more like a bay windowed house, does that change me as a person ?
And if it bothers anyone else is it my problem ? No it’s theirs !!
Love and peace to all no matter the size xx

I hear you. As you know I lost a lot of weight, I went shopping just before the social and me being me just went for the 14 in a pair of jeans as I can’t look at myself and think “oh you need a 12” the 14 hung off me but I still doubted the size and couldn’t decide on what to get I did go for 12 in the end but I still look in the mirror and see the size 14. It’s madness x

How much have you lost now hun?
Its a bloody nightmare! I went shopping on friday, I went from a 16 in one shop, medium in the next, 22 in the next! Its no bloody wonder women are self conscious. Makes shopping so hard, I have to try everything on so no catalogue shopping or internet as I just can not fathom the sizes. So frustrating

Tbh I’m started to get a complex as everyone I see that know me always seem shocked at how I look I have gone down 4 dress sizes. I was always a size 12 but then my weight sneaked up and I ended up in a tight squeeze of an 18 I hated it as it wasn’t me at all. I’ve always had curves but not mountains and my health was not good. I would say I’ve dropped 4 stone since last April but it did come off quick. I wouldn’t want to be the size I was again. I just didn’t feel comfortable. Xx

I look in the mirror and see a 7 stone athlete. But it is a magic mirror then reality kicks in and I move away from it cause I know it's not real. It's been a problem all my life even when I was younger I was a milkman so I used to to run round 6 mornings a week and played 5 a side twice a week but was still 15 stone. Think I'm just unlucky been trying to lose weight for years but it just keeps finding me...w...
