Well i know for Iranians not sure about other middle eastern countries but we grow up pushing food on guests or having food pushed on you, and its usually hard not to say no to it when you are getting put infront of you, especially when its family you get guiltripped with oh you dont like your aunts/mother/grandmother/uncles cooking? but yea it feels wrong not to make sure theres stuff for people to eat >.>Why cultural? I’ve an Iranian friend whose invited me to his wedding, when it happens, and he’s told me it’s all about food and celebrating. Said that there’s a huge amount of family attending too and would love for us to be there. It sounds amazing. Food, family, festivities. Yeah that’s great.
