having now been to my second club, it was very different in layout, but exactly the same in atmosphere - lots of people just sitting round chatting, but opportunities to play 'if you wanted to'.
definitely my new favourite hobby.

Would it be acceptable for me to go with my friend and his wife without my wife, or would that be bad etiquette? My wife is yet to be convinced so this is kind of secretive at the moment and more of a research and reconnaissance exercise. I don't want to feel out of place by not taking a partner or looking like a single guy that's chancing his arm to get laidyou will definitely like it.

on both occasions, the lady in a couple indicated to me she would like me to join her - being a single male suited them both very well. my advice would be to not 'act' like someone who just wants to get laid, but just socialise as if you would on a normal night out where you are meeting new people.
