I'm really looking forward to it, I love GoT. Lisa and my daughter's boyfriend are murder, though. They will talk for hours about what's going to happen, who's going to end up on the Iron Throne, whether any previously seen characters are going to return, where it diverts from the books, odd theories from the internet etc. 
I prefer to, quietly, make political analogies from the story

I binged 7 seasons last Christmas and loved it so much, I’ve now watched them all again 3 times 
I’m one of those odd coves who both didn’t enjoy GoT but am very happy to acknowledge it’s terrific tv that delivers exactly what its fans like, and want.
I tried it when it first was broadcast; didn’t even make it through a few episodes. Then, a few years later, I tried it again. Got through the first two series and then realised, I genuinely didn’t care what happened next.
So, yeah, didn’t enjoy it, but good on ya if you do/did… and I hope the final season delivers everything you want from it.

Love it...by chance last night switched it on with Miss C, who has never watched an episode and now wants to see it all.

Can’t wait for the new season. Have to admit there aren’t many series like it watched every episode. The sets the scenes the CGI is breath taking.
