You said what I couldn't put into words because I was so angry.This virus is probably only a joke to the anti virus, anti everything and people who haven’t seen first hand what it is capable of doing. We have personally witnessed three guys die aged 29, 41 and 54. All fit and healthy guys bar the 29 year old who was a smoker and drinker but still he was no different to most of us but at 29, he’s dead and leaves behind a young child.
We also have another member here who has struggled the past few weeks and has been left with long lasting effects from this virus.
When you lose people that are close to you or just someone you know then it becomes real.
I spent over an hour earlier on the phone to the widow of one of these guys, anyone want her number? You’ll see what covid is then.
This guy battled for three weeks in intensive care and from being originally tested to dying he still tested positive for this virus. It never left him.
Think of your families even if you can’t think of yourselves. It’s not all about one individual, it’s about everyone and how we treat others to protect them.
It’s not a joke and if a lock down works to protect my family then lock down it is, if staying away from my family until we have everyone vaccinated is what we have to do then so be it.
This virus doesn’t care about age, colour, gender, what bloody religion you are, it can kill anyone.
Stay safe and follow the rules and we’ll all get out of this on the other side
Everyone can have an opinion, everyone can have their own views on what the governments are doing, I don’t agree with some but we all have to come together and just respect the decision of the pros and pray they’ve made the right choices. I don’t like it but I’ll do what I’m told if it means I don’t get this virus or risk giving it to my family. The ones that break the rules are the ones that’ll end up with it. Some are best kept to oneself and in G's case that is definitely true.
The advice on this has always been the same, stay away from people you don't live with, wash your hands after every interaction outside your home, cover your mouth and nose when in a closed environment. WTF is difficult about that?
Turns out a lot from the things I have seen but we live in hope that we aren't all killed off by 20 year olds.
