I don't even know where to start with this post. I like the idea of sex with out the hassle of a relationship but don't want to string someone along just for sex. is this the place for me?

I would say everyone felt like that at some point so don’t worry, we offer a monthly social which take place around the uk so that could be a chance to get to know folk or simply get involved in the site, you will soon be made to feel welcome

Welcome to SS. as stew says were all newbies once dont be afraid to ask as nobody will jump down your throat ( unless thats your thing lol) there are no stupid questions and peeps on her WILL try and answer you just dont go messiging the ladies and asking if they want a quick fuck etc theres no need plus it makes you look desparate and a dick..
