It seems that Libs has sent an email to all its members that have attended a Chic event at the club.
The problem is that when they sent it they did a group send and all members full names both forename and surname are listed against their email address. So if you received that email approximately 300 other people have your fullname/s and email. A clear breach of data protection. A lot of people are contacting libs, the police and the office of data protection about the matter and taking whatever action they deem necessary....
For anyone here that received the email check the 'To' box and decide if you think you need to take any action...

What a silly mistake to make. Just not how to do things. Thanks for the heads up. Am sure many will find this invaluable.
Have they made an official announcement or statement about it?

I'll correct my post before someone else steps in. It seems that the numbers are now confused as the membership was grouped in alphabetical surname groups so it could be more or less than the number I talk about about above. It would appear most people can only see the other people in their 'letter group's' either way it' still a huge data protection issue.
