I was based at RAF Wittering at the time. I was attached 899 Naval OCU (Navy Harrier conversion) and they were impressed with my work so took me for a flight. Flew from Wittering, over to Wales up through the low flying system and back. Did all the usual hover and vertical landing and take off as well as a bow to the tower.Bloody hell well jealous how did you cop a ride in a jump jet!
