Well where to start..
I've been meaning to write this for weeks and @Pearls keeps nagging - err I mean reminding me to do this, but you know how it is; time permits etc.
I saw something in a thread today and it's literally prompted me into writing this.
Anyway, we see and hear a lot of people initially struggling with the site when using mobiles.
Well if you think about it, almost every feature on this site can be accessed via your mobile phones/tablets etc.
Besides using little pictures, we use links to do things. Added to that we have an ultra modern off-canvas menu for you.
However, that's not the main reason I am writing this thread...
The main reason I am writing this thread, is to tell you about my right hand woman - @meet_the_fockers
Mrs MTF of 'My Padawan' as I affectionately call her, uses a mobile phone ONLY on this site.
Not only does Mrs MTF use this site for some fun herself from her phone, but she also administrates this site and all from her phone!! Can any one of you guys here imagine how difficult that must be?
It was a shock to the system...
Bearing in mind, Mrs MTF is NOT fully I.T literate, may not be the most I.T savvy person here.... Now she is, but she's worked hard for it too.
Imagine this - not only floating around the place tarting/perving/having fun and chatting with you all, but approving and inspecting images, warning members, banning members, managing people's upgrades, chatting with people - sorting PM's out, introducing herself to people, writing and involving herself on threads, managing and visiting profiles, giving people timeouts.. ALL done on a mobile phone.
All of it, only from her phone and gone from 0 to 100Mph in literally a space of a few weeks.
If you ever think it's really that difficult, which it's not, pause.. have a think and think about what I've just told you about one of your admins & friends here - @meet_the_fockers / Mrs MTF - who does everything completely from her phone.
As you know, we have another admin @zebo who is still learning the ropes (quickly too) and our respected senior staff member @Therapon - both of whom use laptops or a PC.
But Mrs MTF uses her phone and only her phone to do everything she does on this site.
Mrs MTF - I for one am very very proud of you. Both myself and @Pearls are both very proud of you and how quickly you've taken all this in and how quickly you've learnt to do what you do here.
It's a privilege if I'm honest, having you by my side on this site, doing all you do and the way in which you do it - is truly remarkable.
I just wanted to say folks really, that people who initially join and comment how tricky it is (which it's not really) pause and take a moment to think about Mrs MTF and everything I have mentioned in this post.
