As some of you may know me the Mr is currently sporting a sexy bandage which is hindering me during meets so far we have only met one person who knows us very well and doesn't mind doing the leg work for now but we have a meet arranged with people we don't know very well. Should we cancel ? They know I'm injured but we're not sure if they're keeping the meet as arranged out of politeness

All I can say some people are very Accomadating and understanding

I was going to cancel a meeting once due to an unexpected injury on the day of the meeting

The person is question requested for meet to go ahead

Turned out to be one of the most memorable meeting I've had in last few years

Of course, you should go if you still want to

What kind of person or persons would have a problem if someone they are due to meet has picked an unfortunate injury?

Put it this way, if they have a problem with it, at least you've found out the kind of selfish people they are before things went any further.

When I was recovering from a setback in my illness and not feeling top-notch I was very unsure as to whether I should travel to the meet up organised by the lovely @T&C.
I was concerned that I may become fatigued and have to retire early.
I contacted @T&C to let them know of my concerns.
I was told not to worry at all and a resting place in a quiet area of the house would be prepared so I could rest if needed.

Now, bear in mind I'd never met this couple previously it certainly told me something about them.
Needless to say, they were as fabulous as this gesture had suggested and we've become bloody good friends.

Oh, and as it happens I was the last one to go to bed

So, there you are.
You will have some idea of the value of these people by the way they react to your situation.

Most people are decent so I hope you do go and you have a fantastic time (if you don't, just come to my party and I'll make sure you do )

Antogs xx

I think you should go for it they seem to be fine with the injury and sounds like they just want to meet you both. So if it feels right go for it you have nothing to loose. If it just turns out to be social then you will have a fun time I'm sure and anything extra is a bonus
