However PLEASE remember one thing this festive season...don't drink and drive. The Australian Drink and Drive adverts are known world wide as being the most confronting...watch this, turn the sound up and think twice before drinking and driving

Indeed, your adverts are really well known now for hard hitting impact. So much so that the Welsh services did a similar advert for texting and driving;

The current campaign here in Victoria Australia, where the TAC drink driving adverts are made is "Towards Zero" and as of today we are down another 17% compared to last year with around 200 road deaths...we will most likely never get to 0 but we are working on it and that is in a country that put drinking on the map but then how many road deaths are acceptable...............NONE

We work for one of the emergency services and run a youth engagement course called Drive Survive. It is aimed at new drivers and the finale is presented by a lady whose son died as a,result of a drunk driver. It is heart wrenching to say the least and the effect on a room of teenagers is truly something to behold. I'm not ashamed to say I shed tears....

If this course improves young driver behaviour then it's worth doing. It also makes young girls as passengers consider their options too. Truly hard hitting....
