Much luck on Sites like this?

Hello All

I'm just enquiring here to all really, when you first started out on sites like these did anyone have much luck when they started out on it, I've been on other sites for a good few months, got some friends.
but messages got utterly nowhere, I sent them the formalities (aka Face pic) and it would all stop after that, either they just completely blank ignore you or just go off the site altogether and baring in mind they're all local as much as I can so I don't have to go long distance especially in the pandemic...

So I'm just asking...even before the pandemic came into play...has anyone had much luck on swinging sites like these in the first couple of months?

Good luck but I think if you’re on here, you should worry about your conduct and approach on here and not other sites.

So being a single bloke on these sites can be frustrating but with a little effort ie: getting involved,getting seen about the place , it can and has happened but it will probably take tine and not be instant,can I suggest Photo Verification with the site that also can be a help here ...

FWIW - we totally agree that the situation can be difficult not only here, but across all sites for some people.
Even more so now... Sadly.

I know it’s difficult but hang on in there, choice of sites is down to you but you’ll always get the ignorant “I’m all that” folks everywhere, including here. Most people will make you feel welcome here including gents as you can see, be active as that is key to getting to know members but I won’t lie, there are members that won’t even acknowledge you and sadly that’s the scene. Enjoy the site and what it has to offer which will get you noticed, get a snazzy profile so at least people can see you are serious and the rest will follow. ??

I’m really not in a position to comment, being a married gentleman, looking for company and fun, but I do feel it’s important that you must be patient, because you are dealing with others who have to get to know you, and most importantly trust you.
It’s not all wam, bang, thank you mam. It’s about making friends who have a like interest, and it’s important to remember, you won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. Likewise not everyone will appeal to you.

Good afternoon.. I think everyone has already gave you the best advice.. Join in with the threads and get to know everyone here.. Obviously there's no one meeting at the moment with the current situation but once we get back to some kind of normality you will find this site is great.. You have the Saturday socials where you can meet members in a relaxed atmosphere and I'm sure there's a lot more socials to come.. you can chat with people through the pm service on here.. The majority of people will answer you.. I think you will find that this site is a lot more welcoming to single gents than a lot out there.. We have met up with quite a few single gents from here and they have all been really pleasant and polite.. It does take time.. People on here like to get to know you.. We end up chatting with people for a few months before we actually meet and I think most on here are like that.. It's just a case of being patient and getting involved on the site.. It’s not easy for guys and i can sympathise with some but it works for all sexes. This is a better site than others but you will get knock backs everywhere you go. If sending pics and no reply then they’re just stealing yours to use again with another profile, very common babe but you’ll work out who’s genuine or not. You don’t tend to get that here though which is a good side to the site and how it’s run. There are groups that tend to only mix with each other so as a new member you may find it hard to fit in but with everything it takes time. Try and get involved as much as you can and hopefully you’ll get to know members. If you want any advice then drop me a message ???
