I hope you are now recovering well and get through this.
I personally don't need them but can understand how you must feel but remember that if you didn't wear them then you would certainly be worrying a lot more, just forget they are there and don't worry too much, even though I guess it's easier said than done.
Thankyou for being open and honest John (y)xx

So sorry to hear this John and we hope you are on the mend now, I can imagine it must feel awful for you and a little strange and uncomfortable too but i agree with what @Pearls has said you would worry more if you didn't wear them. The best of luck with your recovery.

Hope you're all in the clear now John - having dealt with this previously in your life too close to home, it must be difficult for you.. But hopefully you are okay now and on the road to a full recovery. I can only agree with what's been said previously my friend - and that you'd worry more without them. That said, as a bloke myself, I can understand how humiliating & belittling it must feel too. But I can assure you, it's really not. It's what you make it. If you can get through what you have done, then you can deal with this.
No one here will certainly pass any form of judgement on you as a result and I must say that I find it very brave of you to open up and share this with us all.
Wishing you really very well for the future though and hope you've beaten it good and proper.

Just being a woman every few days of the month I feel a little self conscious, feel less attractive, low mojo and keep checking in the mirror etc..... But it's just one of those things and is an excepted part of life for us ladies!!
I sympathize and I bet many others reading your post do to. Don't let it knock your confidence x x
