As very lapsed swingers it isn't a worry but sensibly we should all give it 6 months before any action, sounds like a long time I know but this thing spreads so easily by contact. Nobody will do that so the virus will be spreading for much longer than it would if people could control themselves.

I suppose you could treat it like you’re in self isolation!

When you start chatting to them, put a 14 day time frame before you meet, if anyone develops Symptoms you Postpone Until later!

But if they were asymptomatic, this strategy didn't work, moreover you should also suppose they don't meet anyone for 14 days and this might be impossible during step 2 or 3.
Anyway, I assume It will not be simple if either a cure or a vaccine are found.
It is a tricky situation, unfortunately.

Lifting the restrictions is the hardest decision..this is why there watching so many other countries to see how they fare as they start lifting very slowly..they said on the news today as Spain and Italy and start lifting some lockdown measures and France have put a timescale on there’s..this puts pressure on the uk government to put some kind of timeline in place for ours to be lifted..personally I don’t think they will rush to reduce measures in the uk..W..

About Italy, it's not completely true. Lombardy and Piedmont are still in full lockdown (only supermarkets are open), while Veneto would like to reopen a few strategic factories. Instead in the rest of the Country just supermarkets plus bookshops and baby clothes stores are open .
Here Step 2 might start from the 4th of May.
My area is still in full lockdown.

I haven't really changed my life _that_ much, I go out for walks less but that's about all. I love the peace, tranquility and when out, the people you meet on the street are more open and more likely to speak as total strangers. There are many boons to life like this. I'm going to die (relatively) soon, so anything that opens my eyes a bit to something different is always a plus.

Will there actually be an "All clear" given that most of the UK population, fortuately, have not contracted covid, or do we just have to accept that there will always be a risk until an effective cure, whatever that will be, is found. Until then if restrictions are relaxed maybe we have to accept that the virus can start to spread again as has happened in Japan. I guess it will remain a risk for quite some time but then there are many others risks in life that we accept as "normal" and no doubt this will just be another to add to the list.

Firstly, having never had a 3sum, further restraint isn’t an issue.
With regards to swinging in general, is as been over 12 months since we have had any sort of kinky fun, so the current restrictions how ever long they are isn’t an issue either. When they are lifted, it will be small steps back into the scene. It will mire than likely be a meet with existing friends, who we know and trust, so that we know they will be honest if they have any concerns regarding their health with the virus. The same would go for us too.
When will those small steps be? How long is a piece of string ? I think each couple or singleton needs to make that call themselves, taking in to account the risks and their current health etc.

When is the right time after this all dies down ? That’s the million dollar question, from my own experiences it’s always taken time to arrange and meet ,it’s never been instant or next day type meets ...
This lifestyle involves quite a lot of trust between those meeting one another, so after this that won’t change , from my memory those that use the site regularly no one has said they have had it or symptoms ?
Can you imagine what type of Leper you would be if you announce that you have the virus .... !!

Pressed send to early so edited ...
I’m not sure much will change here with regards to meetings, but going to clubs and randomly meeting ( not that that happens to me ) sure people will be more wary ...
Will more want to restrict what is on offer , ie kissing ? Oral ?
not sure there is an answer as to when or if it will happen again , but I for one won’t be put off by the virus, I have only met people who have been regular contributors here , wether they remain or have departed so tbh I won’t have a issues meeting again ..... all offers on a postcard
