Out of your comfort zone

So I’m (S) a person that hates exercise. G has a physical job and can say he’s in a damn fine physical state. So I decided to do something out of my comfort zone and join a pole class. One to try to more sexier in the bedroom, which has proved hard as most of the time I’m gurning when getting into the moves!

So what was the one you’ve done that’s outside your comfort zone?

meeting strangers is my big thing - Yet i do it all day every day as a job but it dont get any easier. I do come across very confident but i am not big time

Dunno it just makes me wanna run but i have learned to control it. Most people would be very suprised to hear this as i do come across very confident but its all an act. Cant believe i told you all this cos only Mrs B knows

Good on you it’s difficult to master something like this, takes a lot of will power. I won’t tell anyone you’re amongst friends here x S x

Its cos of this we dont do socials cos i would either come across as really cocky or not speak at all and thats not good at a social.

this is so good. Pole fitness is so taxing! Like that takes some core strength! Update us on ur progress?

I’m similar to @BoltonBiFemCpl in that I hate talking to people like it’s just anxiety and I can do it but that’s what’s out of my comfort zone and I do it all the time. I’m the most extraverted introvert you’ve ever met

To be totally honest, for me (P) the thing that puts me outside my comfort zone, is striking up the first private conversation (on ss) I've recently been pushing myself to make the effort and some have been fruitful and others not so much, but I won't let the "failures" stop me !!!! So watch out ladies you might be my next victim

I cant do relaxed and trust me you dont know how much fear that strikes in me even to think about it

Cheers lovely! Still trying very hard. Lost a wee bit of timber lately and now doing powerhoop as well so core strength is getting way better! Will do I’ll post some pics when I next get some take tho I’m camera shy! Xxx

Dont mind at all - Maybe fear of rejection and thats why i get all cocky. Honestly dont know cos i am very outgoing in every other respect. Some would even go as far as to say life and soul of a party but its not me really

Fear and anxiety can do wicked things to our minds and self confidence, I doubt anyone would think your an arsehole for that, I find that being open and upfront is the best policy, that way there's no surprises. It's easier said than done I know, but do try to strike up a convo with someone and see where it takes you xxx (P)

I have to do this for a living but in that situation i am in control so i am cool but nervious but its ok for me to be cocky so thats my cover i guess

I know what you mean socials especially with people you’ve only talked to on a site is difficult. We’re going on Saturday and I’m so bloody nervous, but come out of your comfort zone, we’re all there cos we like to swing, if someone doesn’t like you someone else will, we’re all not each other’s cup of tea. If we met and you just weren’t interested I wouldn’t offence. Sometimes it like chalk and cheese. S xx
