Depends really, done both. If you have built up a rapport between whoever you are meeting then private meets are great, if you advertise you are going to a club and someone responds well at least there is no pressure to play

We very rarely meet new people these days, but if we click with someone in a club or at a party, we prefer to have private meets afterwards.

Unfortunately we've had experiences that have been quite the opposite where we've been literally railroaded into doing more than we were comfortable with. This is why we only do private meets with people we know xx

As running my business takes up most of my weekday hours, I usually have to decline any requests for meets then. Because of my close association with The Vanilla Alternative club (I'm there as a visitor most Friday nights and help out most Saturdays) I get to meet, socialise, and occasionally play with a vast number of people that enjoy this swinging lifestyle.
So because of my busy weekly schedule, I'm not in the habit of instigating meets, preferring instead, responding to requests from others or meeting with other VA club visitors.

We've had some really good ones but there's a just quite a few pitfalls with private meets. The more experienced we've become the better we've been able to handle different situations.
But definitely for us to have a private meet we have to have met before or have to have got to know really well otherwise it'd have to be a club meet. So I suppose we've got a foot in both camps
Hmm, private can mean different things to different people. For me, meeting privately would be at someone's home, which is a big no no for me. I'd happily meet someone socially at a cafe somewhere public, or at a club, as long as it was understood that just because we're at a club it doesn't automatically mean there'll be play.

Never had a meet in a club only private meets for me too nervous for a club meet

We love to hit the socials and events to see peeps face to face, this is a must before any play with us... however we very rarely play 1st time so private meets are our thing for anything really intermate. Love putting a show on at a club, and love watching xxx

We've not had the opportunity to get to a club yet.
We are child free for the August Bank holiday so it's firmly penciled in.
