I'm in the middle of rewriting my profile and I'm wondering what makes a great profile for all of you.

Do you enjoy reading a profile full of witty comments, or is that too much for you?
Do you just want the profile to be to the point about what someone's looking for?
How much detail do you want about how they perceive themselves (ya know, the ol' sell yourself lark)?

Lemme hear your thoughts!

Your existing one is pretty good , so I’ll look forward to reading the new improved version , they are the shop window to sell yourself ….. that sounds slightly inappropriate but sure you know what I mean

Just a natural, be yourself profile. Don't try too hard to impress anyone and just give enough info to spark a "mmm I like the sound of you".

One thing I think that looks awful on a profile is a list of what isn't wanted, don't like and won't accept.

I’ve never read anyone’s profiles I go for tits and arse ?

I don't think most think it's a rate your profile thread. As you mentioned you wrote it years ago and an update is always good as we all know things change, outlooks and what you are looking for can differ also.

Even if nothing has changed, a small revamp to freshen a profile is always good to do to which shows others you are active not just in the forums and can also attract people to your profile.

Your profile looks fine as mentioned but a fresh bio also looks good.

This has made me think we should blow the dust off our profile. I'm also unsure what to right seeing as we haven't exactly been active even before the lockdowns ?
