We all have our hopes for our own countries think this year could be quite a competitive one with no one running away with it ...In these divided times, it's good to see one European union still going strong. That's not to say that the 2019 Six Nations will be without its arguments, breakdowns in communication and endless debates - but, at least, we will have a result by the end of February!
So, the 2019 Six Nations kicks off tomorrow night, with a Friday night rumble involving the true kings of rugby union, Wales, who visit their Gallic counterparts on the other side of The Channel. On Saturday, the ever-improving but injury-hit Scotland take on an always-dangerous Italy. Both sides are traditionally viewed as the weaker teams in the competition but always provide hard-hitting, brutal games. We finish off the opening weekend with reigning Champions and Grand Slam holders, Ireland welcoming an England side that are below them in the world rankings.
Once again (and this is the real beauty of the Six Nations), form, rankings and history go out of the window in this competition. Wales' recent 9 wins from 9 is certainly impressive but will this carry through to Six Nations results? Will Ireland, certainly the strongest team on paper, suffer injury problems, possibly at scrum-half? Will England's new-found underdog status in the world rankings spur them on to greatness? Will Scotland be able to capitalise on their European success at regional level? Will France be able to wear yellow training vests without getting involved in a riot?
Whatever happens, the Six Nations will continue to be one of the most entertaining sporting tournaments on the planet.
Game on!
However well Wales do, in the whole competition and against 'y Saes', I can guarantee that it will drive me to drink :beer:Hopefully it doesn’t drive me to drink to drown my sorrows

Was there a rugby game on?.. well I hope all the beefy men had fun getting dirty playing with their funny shaped balls again.. they even film it! tut tut
I have never watched a rugby match in my life, in fact I've never watched more than two seconds of rugby, I've failed as a welsh person *runs away before the rugby loving people tackle me*
You should come watch a women's grass roots game, much more entertaining than professional rugby
