I am not talking about what we think is different but actual physical things.

One of the major differences i find when driving is how pedestrians act in the town / City.
In Bolton nobody seems to give a shit about cars and will freely walk in front of you and will glare at you if you don't swerve or stop and let them cross.

Now if you tried that in Glasgow your gonna get run over big time as cars rule and pedestrians act as they should and it makes driving a whole lot easier trust me.

In my innocence I believed there wouldn't be much difference moving from Ireland to Scotland- how wrong can I be

But I see big differences between. The regions when I'm passing through

Driving hospitality food attitudes the list goes on and on

The worst ever was driving in Paris where drivers are totally crazy and pedestrians have no rights

Cardiffinians not far from here East, are quite arrogant but go West and head towards Tenby, Cardigan etc and people are really hoity toity and stiff upper lip. As if they're aristocratic descendent.
Dudes. You live in a fishing village in the West coast of Wales. Not Knightsbridge. :D

I may be biased here but what I love about the North East is the friendly and accepting way in which people are treated. Folks from all walks of life getting on with each other without prejudice. Now when I've visited other city's and also when I studied in the Midlands i could really see a difference and give me pride for my region.
