OK boys only please and be brutally honest.. Yea I know that won't work cause you're all scared... Be brave... Try..

So I rarely wear make-up.. What you see is normally what you get.. Maybe a little hair dye every few months or a bit of concealer occasionally...
But I have noticed that makeup is now more like face paint... You can be whoever you want... But in the morning you are something different.. Usually less...
My question is..
What do you actually want..
Someone who is a glamour puss on a night out with padded bras, spiders for eyes, blowfish lips,fake hair and heels the height of ladders and then in the morning find one of snow whites dwarfs in bed...
I call this Kardashianisim..
Or do you want to wake up next to the person you met?

Imagine how fucked up it would be if women had to choose a man with a false face...

Most men go for glamour...
But how do you really feel when you see them without their chicken fillets, bitten nails and wrinkles as deep as the grand canyon...

Brutal answer is I don't like it (I know proper brutal aren't I)?

Light make up, I don't mind. The Jodie Marsh look is defo not for me. Some blokes love it though, personal preferences and all that.

Although as a counter argument if I could have surgery for more hair up top I'd have it done. I'd rather go silver than bald.

Natural beauty all day long for me. A little make up is fine but don't put on so much that you would fit it well at Madam Tussauds. Or sneeze and your face falls off. Mrs @that_ll_do_boo and @Looby&Lew have a natural beauty that they don't need much make up. Less is more.

Honestly I'm superficial I want someone that looks good.
BUT they don't have to be plastered with make-up to be attractive
For instance we never see your face (and rarely but sometimes have a side shot) however from what I can make out you are attractive and would adorn the arm of many and someone I'd try and chat up in a bar (sorry you did say honest)
There are many facets to this for example
I was in Liverpool many many years ago early in the morning for a mid-week meeting and saw this blonde lass walking towards me an absolute knock-out. BUT she was on her mobile and as she passed her voice was an interest killer (yes she was wearing make-up but not for a night out)

I have a preference for what I like but it isn't set in stone
Blonde, Brunette or Redhead (long and cropped)
Blue, Green or Brown eyed
B, C or D cup (although have a preference for D)
8 to 12 size
5'3 to 6"
I've been attracted by them all whether dressed up to the nines or in work clothes)

So suppose I want it all

To wake up with the person I went to bed with but for that person to be attractive (or at least too me)

But I agree..
I wake up to the men I choose.. They don't have to wash their make-up off and clog up the sink..
As for my ugly mush... I used to show it but started getting over 1000 messages a day, Stalkers and then some dick posted it all over porn sites...
I prefer to stay anonymous..

Personally, I want people to be who they are. With some people, that involves wearing make-up, having cosmetic enhancements etc. With others it involves none of the abovementioned. Beauty is being true to yourself and no one else.

Getting back to the original point.... I am attracted to the person. A pretty girl is not necessarily attractive. A plain, underweight, overweight, flat-chested (add anything else you like here) girl can be incredibly attractive. It might be here mannerisms, her voice, her outlook, her expression (quite likely, that one), the way she moves or simply that she has that je ne sais quoi that is appealing. If her personality is one that wears loads of makeup at night and I wake up with her in the morning without makeup, she is still the same person that I was with the night before. Likewise for the one who doesn't wear much, if any, makeup.

So Bibas, I'm being brutally honest and I'm not scared. So I don't need to be brave. You've entitled the thread "Skin deep." I guess for casual sex, skin deep, and hence solely physical attraction (and makeup?) are important. If we are looking for more, then the skin deep bit goes out of the window, because we look past it.

Well, that's my thruppence-worth.... (Sorry, I'm old!)

Easy for me. Shiny happy people that love to laugh and a dirty mind is a wonderful bonus, not a lot else matters to me as far as attraction goes.
Any pretense is a turn off unless its part of the fun lol
