Strange or funny reasons for not meeting

We had been chatting for a while with a localish couple about meeting up and all was going good and we had agreed to meet in the town for a drink and see how things went - They asked us where we lived and we told them - Next message we got was " We dont want to meet you your all 4x4 wankers up there.
I did reply and say we have never owned a 4x4 but you can come see my sports car if you like (it was a bit of a tongue in cheek reply btw)

ohh and we have had two meets where the wife / partner did not know it was a swingers meet ..one was very upset and left, the other lady who sat and chatted about swapping we meet a few days later she told her husband she needed a walk..{into our bedroom..lol} he had no idea, she told us it was something she would like to try without him knowing.. now thats karma ..ccj

A male friend of ours rung one afternoon, he had a meet arranged with a single fem that he knew we had met before and begged us to explain to her that he couldn't meet because he had sliced into his ball sack while trimming his pubes with kitchen scissors (you know, the really sharp yellow ones?)

We told her and amid much laughter invited her to ours instead of wasting a free evening.

Being really good mates we sent him pictures.

It's what friends are for, right?
