In August we did say that we were thinking about removing these threads unless more members got involved. Unfortunately this has not been the case and we believe that they have now passed their sell by date. Given the low participation and large amount of time it requires to monitor the threads we have decided that this Friday's thread will be the last.
The threads will be closed after this and all the posts, photo's and ratings (Likes, Winner etc) will be deleted so if you did use these threads you will notice that your overall total of likes may drop. The threads will not be recoverable as we believe that this is in line with the original idea of the threads.

Finally would like to say a big Thank-you those members who did take the time and effort to participate as without you these threads would never have happened.

It’s very sad that it’s come to this but I can only reiterate what @Therapon has said below, and thank you all for your participation since we launched this amazing area. Some of the photos have been sexy, saucy but most of all - fun for everyone involved. Thank you x

I may be biased - since I personally had no interest in the threads, neither viewing nor participating - but seems to me that that site @Admin is doing exactly the right thing: had a feature of the site, encouraged folks to use it, realised that not enough were, encouraged more folks to use it, realised that still not enough were doing so, closes the feature.

I could not agree more.
While we're here, I'd like to say a huge and heartfelt thanks to @Therapon and @Miss-Sexy-Legs for the huge commitment they've given to this. they've given everything they can to doing the DOTW threads and for this to come to an end is a milestone of work lost.
It's a shame that it came to this, trust me when I say = it was a 24/7 job managing this area. It really was.

It's such a shame as having experience planning a games night it does take a lot of work. Thanks to @Miss-Sexy-Legs and @Therapon for taking up their time to do this. We would of put our last few efforts in but we have had builders in here and it has been hectic

The Days of the Week threads are the ones we will be deleting, these were the ones where you needed to add a photo once each week to retain access.
We hope to replace these with something else but no decision has been made yet so if anyone has some ideas let me know.

As explained many times some members posted photo's that they had never posted elsewhere so it was right that others made some efforts. One photo a week, how difficult was that? We also did not want it to be a pervs paradise, that is why we have the galleries and like the galleries some limit access to who can see some of their media, the threads we just an extention of that. The facts are simple, you the members make this site what it is but only by putting the effort in.

Thanks to the staff who organised and moderated the DOTW threads. They had a good run and were good threads.

Not lost, lots of good memories. Maybe as the site gets bigger something similar may take their place in the future

Okay so we've stalled from suggestions in replacement so here's ours;
