Turn Around And Choose?

So, it’s Saturday night and we’re doing our thing before dinner - which is family time and chilling. That involves watching X-factor of all things and our youngest son just came up with a great conversation and question. But centred about the Voice really.
His question was this, which we’ve had good fun discussing;
Who are your top four favourite bands/singers?
Then the twist;
If they were in a chair and they turned on your singing , who would you choose?
Clever.

FWIW I said: Freddie Mercury, Elton John, George Michael and Robert Plant.
@Pearls said - Elvis, Prince, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner.

Top four ...:hmm:
From back in the day Marc Bolan of T-Rex ...
Chester Bennington of Linkin Park ....
Jay Kaye of Jamiroquai ...
out on a limb Amy Lee of Evenescence ...
With my singing they would probably all run and hide .... but choosing ..Jay Kaye he’s just the epitome of ... unlike me

But the question is what about you guys? Who are your favourite top four and who would you go with?
Then the twist;
If they were in a chair and they turned on your singing , who would you choose?
Clever.

I don't understand what this means

Off the top of my head my fave singers/band would be Queen, Oasis, Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson.

Out of all of them Freddie Mercury is my fave but I would give up my least favourite child (possibly not politically correct ) to go to back in time to Vegas and see Frankie perform in the lounges.

Does that answer the question? Not sure what turning chairs is all about :hmm:

Gawd so many to choose from. Right now, and I will probably change my mind tomorrow. Chosen these for their distinctive voices

Robert Plant, Joe Cocker, Chrissie Hynde and Mick Huknall.

Who would I choose, Robert Plant

What a fascinating conundrum.
One that, unfortunately, I absolutely can't answer simply because I honestly couldn't say who my four favourite artists are as it's a little like comparing apples with oranges. Different artists/groups mean different things to me. I don't think that anyone would argue that The Sex Pistols are "better" than, say, The Rolling Stones, but for me, I'd pick The Pistols every time.
John Lennon or Seastick Steve?
David Bowie or Lady Gaga?
I'd prefer to give a long list of my favourites and let someone else pick four at random and then sit me in the chair and choose. It'd be a great night, that's for sure.

Antogs

I'd be useless on Desert Island discs, wouldn't I?
