Hmmmmm sugar sarnies , if u never had em u will never knowVery true, when I was little we were poor, my dad was a coal miner and we struggled, I had one pair of shoes for school and had to go bare foot out to play, I had two pairs of socks that were washed every night in the sink, we were always clean even though we bathed only on a Sunday and shared, we ate only home cooked food, mostly corned beef and sandwiches were sugar and butter or if mam was flushed we had jam, we new how to have fun and I say to my children when they ask " mam how do I know what time to come in".. When I was little I knew or would hear my mam shouting on the doorstep and we heard.... Loved every bit of it xxx
