What Do You Enjoy Most About Preparing For A Meet Or Social Event

I love the planning of what to wear, I may change my mind 3 or 4 times depending on my mood on the day.
Then there is the hairdressers....
Do you have it curly, or pinned up ? Well as all us girls know that depends on the chosen outfit.
Then nails, again we like to be colour co-ordinated, and that depends on the outfit.
Then of course let’s not forget the underwear, but that depends on the outfit which still is not decided on.
The shoes. Oh where to start on this one, it all depends on the outfit again.......
So the 2 weeks of planning falls to the wayside, and all 4 outfits have to be packed and a trailer put on the car for the rest of the items that still are a last minute choice.......
Do any other women have this dilemma when preparing for a meet or social.
For me I just love being so indecisive and as the excitement builds an hour before I have to leave a decision is made.
Dam I forgot handbags !!!! Arghhhhhh

We end up with three suitcases when we go to the Birthday Bash and about ten outfits on hangers. Last year I went and bought a new one while I was there.

Oh no !!!!! Don’t confuse me with more shopping whilst there, 10 outfits !!!! I would never make up my mind Pmsl Cxx

The boss lady was not happy with 10 and got anotehr one...
Moral of the story: Just take the CC's and go shopping every morning while you are there.

My fave bit and my worst bit happen at the same time on a meet - Just as you clap eyes on the person your meeting its either yipeee they look great or this is never going to happen. Of course first opinions can be changed but not often for the better.

As for doing my hair, Well Mr Bic sorts that 1 out. Nice shirt might have a dither about trousers or jeans and some nice shoes. Trim nails and other hairy bits, Shower and some nice smelly and i am ready.

Mmmm....as Miss C bit of rough then it’s bag carrying.

Given Miss C need to take wardrobe not much room left for me, pants, flip flops should cover it.

No worry on hair, it’s gone in any case, trim beard and then the rest....well to late to worry about that.

jokes apart,
I am a person who enjoys getting to know people (couples and single females in my case). I also get very nervous in this case as it's my first social meet with people on this site. It always makes me anxious and interested in when to make a move and when to stay back and let things fall into place.

It's the excitement about finding the balance that I find the most amazing and enjoyable.

I usually end up forgetting something, last time I was at the VA it was my hairdryer.
I enjoy the days leading up to a social, the whole planning and gathering of items, but like most females I usually end up with a last minute change of mind lol x

For me personally, I love actually taking time to groom. I like to look as good as I can (hard with a mug like mine ) I like to smell good, be immaculately clean - I am bad for that lol.. and generally spend some time getting ready. Pruned.
Always well shaven up and downstairs! I enjoy a drink to relax a little.
But the downside is I am like every other person here; will I look alright in this. Will I look alright in that. Should I put X boxers on or a different type. What about food if eating in? Have I made a good enough menu? Have I put enough effort in?
Headwork, but I actually bloody love all that. I love fussing and pampering - it's completely part of the experience for me.

As for HRH up there ^^ aye as I said, she almost bloody killed me. In fact she's done it almost every time. The FoF was the worst... oh aye. She started sunning it up straight away like a hippy and I had to not only carry all of our luggage, but all the SS tent and equipment too. Fooked I was.
Good fun though. x
