I can relate so much to this thread, cancer destroyed my childhood..... smoking to blame again.

So sorry to hear of your situations, one and all xx

Pearls.... you can do it!!!!
Yes smoking has a lot to answer for. I for one wish I’d never started. It’s the only main regret I have in life and anyone who know me, knows that this is true.
Ahhh she’s doing well. We both are and thank you

Very sad to hear the stories of smoking-related ill health and early death. But @Lips_Pearls and @Pearls congratulations! Great to hear about the benefits you've noticed recently. Keep up the good work
Thank you very much. We’re certainly doing pretty well I think. feel better for it.
I’ve my old mans words ringing in my ears constantly “wish I’d never smoked and picked that first cigarette up” - as a constant reminder and encouragement to continue.

Dilemma. I have a few fine cigars still in my office desk's drawers. Cuban - Romeo y Julietta.
Now, I should bin them.. but I am so tempted to just hang on to them for, you know, a special occasion or something.

It's a risky business that you know. At the very least get @Pearls to hide them from you until you know you've kicked the habit for good

I think you should donate them to someone who would appreciate them ....put a smile on their face and then polish your halo x

Oooh good call! I may just do that. In fact I know the very person. Our next door neighbour loves a good cigar, he's a really nice guy too. These are £25 each and I have 3. He will enjoy them. Good call. Halo? Moi? You know me well. I am innocent xx

Or an auction to go towards the up keep of the site
Nah... I will stick with @Looby&Lew suggestion & give them to my neighbour. He's done loads over the years, he will appreciate them. Thank you though Colin.
Are they filled with gold?

X
My man, these are some of Cuba's finest hand rolled cigars. They're utterly delicious and moreish. Once you have one, you can't put the damned things down and want more. They get a lot more expensive than that! I've bought some which are over 100 but that was many years ago..
Would never do it now. Older & wiser.

Your going to laugh but when I was just starting to vape full time as I had been duel fueling as they call it in the vaping world, and Neil wasn't vaping then I think, well I'd ask him to roll me one ciggy to take with me to my mum's. I never smoked it for ages a fresh one every night I was at my mums a kind of back up if you like. I basically just had to sniff it just to smell the tobacco to keep me on track of vaping. Ended up calling it my sniffy fag . Damn the early days of vaping were hard first thing in the morning
