Nice. to expand on that, i also believe our souls follow each other through time, and that you were with your perfect partner in another life/time, and you will be with them again.
You wont know it, but that connection two people have, where it just feels 'different', like its meant to be, thats your soul remembering your past lives together.

I've just experienced something uncanny....
Just checked a members' profile. Haven't been on for some time (months) - 20 minutes later they came online!

totally agree @Admin - if we stop and look round once in a while, instead of rushing through life, we'll realise how amazing the way the world works
Could not agree more. It's an amazing world we live in, but we (mostly) are zombies smothered by consumerism and narcissism laced with selfishness.
Just my tuppence worth...

so much selfishness
Too much. It's rather worrying too. The selfishness and spite that is now the norm, didn't exist 20+ years ago.
It's a worrying sign of the change of pace of society. fate and destiny play a hand, certainly, but greed and culture loss help this.
The days of being kind and caring to another human being seem to be long gone (not for some of us) - and the days of 'my myself and I' are more prominent now than ever.
Even down to helping the old dear a few doors down, with his/her shopping.
Long gone... And that can't even be placed to - ye olde git or anything, it's fact.

sad but true. the digital age has destroyed the way we interact with people too - its all texts, tweets, and mails. we've lost the ability to have a conversation, and bury ourselves in our own little worlds..... yet here we are lol.

thank god for swinging eh, for all the porn out there these days, swingers are fighting the good fight to keep that good old physical interaction alive.

go you! go me (sort of)! go everyone else on here.

Shag, shag, shag away - its for the good of the human race

Sorry, but no. I don’t believe in fate, in destiny, in any of that. Neither do I believe things happen “for a reason”.

I do believe that humans are remarkably good at post-event rationalisations, though.

I absolutely do not believe in fate, destiny or karma. They are a fanastical romanticised idea.
What about the homeless person who dies in the cold after sleeping rough for many years?
What about murder/rape victims?
What about cancer victims?
What about the people in this world who suffer?

If this is fate/destiny/karma then leave me out of it.
I make my own decisions. Whatever shite life throws at me, I make the decisions on how I react. I control to either give up or carry on.
Yes I agree we cannot control everything. We allow others to control the big decisions e.g governments etc but that is not fate. That is another having control.

Am I fated to have a chicken sandwich or ham sandwich for lunvh tomorrow? I don't know, I haven't decided yet.

Merry christmas all. Spread the cheer
