For me it’s definitely- olives, feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes, antipasti and mezes etc.
With a large glass of full bodied red.
You get the sweetness from the olives and tomatoes, the sourness from the olives and cheese... mixed with the wine.
Just makes my mouth water thinking about it.
Incidentally we’ve got a cracking tin of olives here in chilli oil which I’m quite looking forward to nibbling on.
I love marmalade and cheese but others can’t get their heads around it.
I also love salad cream on toast with shit loads of white pepper...
